Rules on photos?

  Hi All,

  I’m new to blogging and would really like to add some photos/images to my posts. What are the rules on posting pictures say from pinterest or other websites? I don’t want to infringe on copyrights, but is there a way to give credit where it’s do and still use in my posts?

  if you do not have permission to use any image you did not take yourself and do not hold copyright, then know copyright law applies in cyberspace to digital media, just as it applies to print media offline.

  The vast majority of images are under copyright and cannot be used without the owner’s permission. That’s why Google posts a copyright warning. “Website for this image. Images may be subject to copyright.” You have to check to see if you can use any image and under what conditions your can use it assuming it can be used at all.
