Running a Discussion Thread

  I’m new to blogging…

  Is there a way to set-up and run a discussion thread on my blog? Here’s what I have in mind:

  I’d like to post a discussion thread, have people reply (I’m set to moderate all comments), and then once I approve the comments I can post them for everyone to see.

  Can this be done?

  That’s how comments work.

  But if you set comments to be moderated, it will throttle your debate severely. If you open it up, you may get trolls and spam, but at least your debate can take place more quickly.

  And you can always delete the trolls. You can also ban particular words or IP’s if you need/want to.
