Running downloaded plugins

  I have downloaded the ‘add link to facebook’ plugin, which appears as a .zip file. What do I do with this file OR any other plugin to make it run. Do I save it in a particular loaction? is there a function on the wordpress site to run the plugin?

  please help, I am burned out tying to figure this out and watching others do it on prior versions of wordpress which don’t have the same tabs as this version

  We cannot use the plugins provided by Facebook on WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access to our blogs and we can’t install any plugins at all. They are only for WordPress.org installs.

  You can post a Facebook badge in your sidebar. http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-badge/

  You can also enable sharing buttons on your posts, pages and index pages.
  Also note the “like” button.

  You can set up the Facebook like box widget found here > Appearance > Widgets

You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.
