Running the desktop app on linux

  I have installed the desktop app on ubuntu using the debian file. However I can’t find any way on how to run the desktop app. Any help?

  Hi,

  If you press the Super (Windows) key on your desktop and start typing wordpress, does the WordPress app not appear in the results? Please check this after running the installer .deb file again. If WordPress doesn’t show up in the list, we can flag this thread for Staff’s attention.

  Thanks mishrashutosh. The first time I installed it, it was not showing up in the results. I had to reinstall by running the .deb file again. Now it shows up.

  That’s great. You can just drag the icon to the app bar for quicker access.
