running two wordpress sites

  I currently have a free wordpress site which I operate as a personal blog. I am planning to make a new site for my magazine on WordPress as well. If I use the ‘Add New Site’ feature, will the new site also be free? If at some point I want to change the second site to a paid plan that purchases the domain name, does that affect my first site, which I want to still keep as a free, wordpress.com site?

  You can have as many sites (free or otherwise) under your account.

  The paid plans are all on a per site basis so if you upgrade one of your sites then the other will just remain as it was.
