Running WordPress from root directory
-
My WordPress files are located in xy.com/wordpress. To start WordPress, I have to type xy.com/WordPress. However, I would prefer it that when someone types just xy.com, my WordPress blog appears. I’ve looked at the documentation, but its instructions seem to tell how to do it the opposite way.
If anyone can tell me how to do it I would much appreciate it.
Thanks,
Howard -
At wordpress.com we do not have access to our underlying templates, directory files, etc. Do you have a wordpress.com blog or are your referring to software you downloaded from wordpress.org? (The two are different. )
