Is the Russell theme limited to 4 items in its navigation? I can’t seem to be able to add a 5th.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
No, the theme does not have any limits. I think you may have been adding the menu via the customizer. As it’s a Full Site Editing (FSE) theme, you will need to use the Site Editor to directly add links to the menu.
To do this, click My Site → Appearance → Editor. When the editor finishes loading, click on the right side to enter the editing mode. Then, follow the instructions here to add items to the menu.
Basically, in the Site Editor, you will need to locate the Navigation block and then click the + icon next to the existing menu items to add new ones. Once done, click Save to update/publish the changes.

Thanks. Nothing you show me here is the same as what I am seeing. Perhaps that’s because I’m using a free version. I clicked a couple of check boxes and got the navigation bar close enough to what I want.
Now I notice there is no way for me to edit site colors such as link text color, etc. It forces me to use the site editor (Beta) but I don’t see any options.

To add a menu to your site, you will want to use the Site Editor. You can access the Site Editor at My Site → Appearance → Editor.

I recommend making sure all pages you are trying to add to your menu are published so that you can find them when adding links to your menu.
The Navigation Block is already added to your header but you still need to add links/pages to your menu. There is a detailed guide on how to do this here: https://wordpress.com/support/site-editing/theme-blocks/navigation-block/
As far as colors go, several blocks offer color settings. For additional color options, you will want to upgrade to the Premium plan to unlock Styles.
The theme you choose for your site defines many aspects of your site’s design: colors, text size, spacing, and more. You can customize these elements as much as you’d like using Styles.

Thanks. Mine is not a money-making site so I’m interested in low cost. I will try what you suggest if I ever upgrade to Premium. For now, there’s no way to change site colors. I’ll just deal with it as is. Thanks again.

As mentioned, several blocks still offer color settings. Another option is to change your theme, as the theme does set colors, text size, spacing, and more.
