Rusty Grunge-Background

  Hi-my blog is http://meroveeschild.wordpress.com . I have switched to the new Rusty Grunge theme . I have uploaded a large background image(not by CSS) and wondered whether it is automatically set to fit the size of a screen . I have a 17inch screen but don’t know anybody with a large screen with which to test it – it fits OK on my mine . Thanks in advance .

  It looks fine to me, even when I stretch my browser window out to 2360px wide.

  TSP- thanks alot . If anybody has a huge screen, then its bad luck on them .

  Mine is 30″, not many have one larger than that.

  :-)

  The blue pattern fades nicely into the black background color.

  Besides, most people with large monitors have them so that they can have more than one window open side-by-side rather than maximizing their browser. I keep my browser window at just about 1/2 of the width of my monitor.

  30″ is huge .Its a nice background – I found it at a site called Desingerfied.com ( you’ll have to google it ) and there are some good free backgrounds which are designed for Twenty Ten but can be played around with to fit other themes .

  I am new here and still trying to get a handle on the ropes. Does anyone know how to change the font type on the page or does that come standard with the theme you choose? Just curious.

  Each theme designer decided on the fonts that are used in the various themes. You can use typekit though to get a wiser variety of fonts.
