Ryu love theme but need help. thank you!
-
Would love to use the beautiful Ryu theme–and am no tech idiot (created many here –tho’ one need not be a genius to do so)–but am having a heck of a time with the widget area, getting the menu bar under the header, tech glitches from the beginning.
Given it’s my first day trying to build this site using Ryu (though read much about) can’t tell if it’s me or the theme screwing up.
How do I get the menu bar just below the header? i.e.,
http://carmenmariamachado.com/contact/How do I get the Widgets to look exactly Like Carmen’s too? Tried everything! (the obvious and experimenting). Using her site as a model to build my own until I get to know better. Would love your help Takashi.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

p.s. the widgets are not appearing at all, nor is the menu.
site is private and like to keep it that way for now. not sure if you (support) can see.

Read this before I began building. Thoroughly. Unfortunately the theme is not responding as it should (mine, anyway).

You have the blog visibility setting at Private and you will have to make it public so you can get Volunteer help.

a) Most themes automatically display links to your published pages in a top menu, but some themes (including Ryu) don’t. You need to create a custom menu. For details on custom menus see this post of mine:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/
b) You haven’t added any widgets yet. Carmen’s widgets are an Image widget, a Text widget, and the Follow Blog widget. -
I removed the widgets justpi–by the time you got to my site. experimenting: ) thank you though.
Timethief–just wanted to say i looked at your sites and really enjoyed some of the content.
