Ryu theme custom background color problem

Hi,
This theme supports custom background feature, as seen in it’s documentation. But there’s a problem with this feature.In the Customizer preview I change the background color to black /or other dark color/ and the text and headlines turn white. Everything in preview is OK.
But when I click Save button in Live blog all texts are black over black background – not visible. Can this be fixed?

I’m not seeing Ryu on your site metalniat.wordpress.com at the moment – did you switch themes in the meantime?
I tested out changing the background colour to black on a site running Ryu, but I wasn’t able to replicate your issue – the text remained legible after exiting the Customizer. I made a screencast to show you the steps I took so that you can watch and perhaps spot something you did differently that might help us figure out why it the text turned black on your site. I’m not sure why it’s working differently on your site, but if you’d like, you could go ahead and to switch to Ryu on your site and then with your permission, I could give it a try and see if I can figure out what might be different. Let me know if you’d like to go this route and we’ll take it from there.

If I switch the theme nothing but photos and videos is visible, not text is visible on black background

Thanks for letting me test with your site. I think what might be happening is that the Customizer is giving you a preview of what your site would look like if Custom Design were active. Custom Design lets you customize any colour or font on your site, not just change the background colour. Since your site does not have the Custom Design feature, you are only seeing the new background colour applied, and the text remains at its black default colour.
I’m still going to ask one of our developers to take a look to see if this is the expected behaviour, especially since I was not able to replicate the phenomenon on a test site where the Custom Design feature was not present either. We’ll keep you posted here.

I was just able to replicate the black-on-black issue on a newly created test site that never had the Custom Design present on it, unlike my earlier test site. This confirms my theory that without Custom Design, the background colour is the only colour you can change within the Customizer, even if the preview screen shows a different colour for your text. Text colour can only be modified through the Custom Design upgrade.
