Ryu theme; possible to delete huge spacer in header?

    Hi I am using Ryu theme in site http://lisamighton.wordpress.com. There is a lot of blank space between my name and the ‘About’ and beginning of text. The user must really scroll down to begin reading. I’d like that blank space to be much smaller. Can I do that? I have checked out a few other themes, but don’t see any where the text is full-page at the top. I also see a few that are themes that are personal profiles, like mine, but the couple of them I’ve seen have massive pics of the person and I really don’t want that . :) . Thanks in advance for suggestions.

    @lmighton, that’s how the theme was designed, but if you have a plan that supports CSS we can give you code to override that setting.

    We may also be able to help you find a different theme:

    You wouldn’t have to use an image, so if there’s a theme you like aside from a large image, maybe give that a go to see if it suits your needs.
