  Hi there, just adding here that you don’t mention which “WordPress” you mean.

  WordPress comes in 2 flavors: the fully hosted WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and the open source WordPress (org) project at https://wordpress.org This support guide explains some of the differences between them: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ and may help you decide which is more suitable for your needs.

  You can also see a showcase of various sites built on either WordPress software or the WordPressdotcom platform here: https://wordpress.org/showcase/ Use the filters on the left side of the page to get more detailed search results.

  I do wish that we had our own showcase of mysite.wordpress.com or mywpcomdomain.com sites like we used to have with the old Theme Showcase. It was really helpful to see what other people did with their theme. The ones listed as COM in the showcase on the ORG site seem to be mostly VIP. :(
