Safari 17.0 preview problems
-
Ever since updating to Safari 17.0, I’m unable to preview a post in desktop view new tab. WordPress displays my basic blog elements, but with the following error message in the post body:
‘Oops! That page can’t be found. It looks like nothing was found at this location.’
Tablet and mobile view new tab previews are displayed without problems.
In Safari, third-party cookies are not blocked, and content blockers is deselected.
Other browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Edge — on my iMac running Sonoma Version 14.0 do not have the desktop new tab preview problem.
Not sure if this is related, but Safari has always taken longer to build and display my blog than other browsers, whether I’m previewing a post or visiting my blog from an external link.
