Safari and the Publish Button

Just recently I have switched to using Safari as my browser and have noticed a problem with editing posts. When i press Publish, nothing happens. I have to press Publish again for anything to happen.
Also part of this problem is that I am no longer getting the opportunity to check spelling etc.
Is anyone else noticing problems using Safari?

Not me. I’m on 5.1.5 and it works flawlessly for me. I gave up recently on Firefox since it was trying very hard to kill my hard drive and freezing up my system.

One suggestion is to log out, clear your browser cache and cookies (Safari menu > reset Safari) shut down and restart Safari and try again. It could be a cookie or cache issue.
What version of Safari are you using?

I’ve been out all day….I’m on Safari 5.1.5 which I think is the latest. I’ll try clearing the cache and see if that works

Cleaned the cache, sort of worked, but there’s a lot not right, not only with WordPress but other sites as well. I’m going to switch back to Chrome for a while and look at this problem in slow time…
