Hi!
I looked at your site briefly on Yosemite 10.10.4 and Safari 8.0.7 (10600.7.5). Everything seemed in order to me.

Hello…
Yes, every things appears okay if just an on looker, however, when I go into my “wordpress” to check stats for example I can’t access it at all!
I get “… Safari can not open wordpress…” Thanks for taking the trouble to look…. -

I am still having problems… the screen is safari saying “Safari can not connect to wordpress.com” … there is no connection which is very frustrating as I have used wordpress to write my blog for several years, now I can’t get into wordpress at all!!

Is it just a problem with Safari? What happens if you visit your site from Chrome?
Could you send me a screenshot of what you see on the screen when you try to connect?
Here are instructions on creating a screenshot

Hello again! Thanks for your concern over my problem! I have looked at my keys and can’t seen any that are suggested in the “making a screenshot” so not sure if I can send you what I keep getting from Safari. If I can describe the screen…. Ummm let me think… the Safari compass comes up in the middle of the page, all light grey wording which says “Safari can not open wordpress.com” that’s about it! I can open every thing else via safari, so am pretty baffled what’s happened. Haven’t gone to the Chrome possibility yet, might just have to if I can’t sort it out…

You may have old data about your site in your cache. Let’s try clearing the cache to see if that helps. Here are the instructions for how to do that.

Hello,
I have tried clearing my Cache several times and being into advanced settings in system preferences and it still doesn’t seem to work. I’d send you a screenshot of the message I get when trying to connect to wordpress however it won’t let me attach it in this comment. It keeps saying safari can not connect to the server. I have no problem with chrome which can only lead me to believe it is a problem with safari?

It keeps saying safari can not connect to the server. I have no problem with chrome which can only lead me to believe it is a problem with safari?
That seems likely to me too. If you are able to access your account via Chrome, please add the screenshot to your media library. I can take a look from there.
Could you also tell me what version of Safari you are using and make sure you have the browser set up to accept cookies? Here’s more information on how to check for cookies.

I have given up trying to sort the problem out going safari to wordpress and now use your suggestion of going via chrome, which seems to be working fine! Thank you for your help and attention, very kind of you to take the trouble and interest to try and help. Best wishes, Jay…

No problem Jay! I’m glad at least Chrome is working correctly for you. If you ever want to debug this further, please upload the screenshot of the error message to your Media Library here:
