Safe to delete approved comments?

  Is it safe to delete a comment after I approved it? Or will deleting an approved comment (moving it to Trash) remove the comment from the post where it was left? I’m only asking because I can only imagine what kind of nightmare it will end up being having this “inbox” of approved comments like 100 pages deep.

  Hi there!

  If you trash an approved comment, it will delete it from the post where it was left.

  You can choose to view your comments without looking at previously-approved comments, if you’d like.

  When you click on Comments in your Dashboard, you can filter out your approved comments and view only your pending comments. You’ll do this by clicking Pending underneath the “Comments” header.
