safeguarding the publish button
-
Hi all-
I just did the thing I feared most: pushed publish instead of save draft. So, a bunch of notes on a future post were sent out to my subscribers, as well as to my FB page. NOOOOOOOOO!
Is there any way to enable a dialogue box that asks are you SURE you want to publish when you press the publish button? I need to make sure this mistake does not happen again. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No. I’m sorry but we have a preview function for this purpose. And this question has been asked and answered prviously ads forum threads attest to.

Thank you for your help, although the answer is frustrating. FYI, I did search before I posted the comment in this forum, and nothing relevant surfaced.
The preview function is meaningless in this case because it comes up after you press save- if I had pressed save draft, then I wouldn’t be in this pickle, now would I?
Oh well, perfection is overrated.
I appreciate the assistance, and I learned my lesson: never write future draft notes when I’m trying to cook dinner and help kid with homework. Today I posted about rocking your inner freak- so I’ll just have to laugh it off, and keep rocking the freakness. -
You’re right perfection is overated. I’m in the habit of clicking “save draft” saving every few lines or so. Your post sounds interesting. Rock on! lol :D
