Safety program

Good morning,
I work for Washington’s Labor and Industries. I’m currently in a project where we are building a website for trucking companies to provide them with a safety program. I would like our website to collect data, forms with companies information and what kind of equipment they have. After we collect that data we would like the website to spit out a document based off the data we received along with some training tools. My question is, could I do something like this with wordpress and a database server? An example of what we are looking to build would be something like turbo tax. It takes you in steps and you input your information and at the end it gives you something based on the data you inputed. I’m trying to decide whats the best way to go with this route. Thank you for your help and your advise in advance.

The kind of site you describe is not possible on sites hosted on the WordPress.com platform, but may be possible with a self-hosted WordPress site (also known as WordPress.org).
You may be able to find some information on the self-hosted support forum at https://wordpress.org/support/.
For something this specific, you will probably need some custom WordPress development as I doubt there will be any plugins that will match your needs right out of the box.
