Sales tax exemption for business plan

  Hello, I am working to transfer an existing domain to a new WordPress site and purchase the business plan. I was about to submit the order and saw there is an $18 sales tax charge — this site is for a research lab housed within a university and we cannot be charged sales tax. Can you please let me know the appropriate steps to take to make this happen?
