Sally Divi theme not updating and Jetpack always says ‘not connected’

Hello Help persons,
I’ve tried to use the forums with no help.
1. My Divi theme ‘Sally’ which I think is a child theme keeps saying ‘please’ update in my site health status bar. I’ve updated it over 50 times, it says updated and as soon as I click on my dashboard or post or anything else, it says I need to update it again.
2. The Jetpack says it’s not connected in my site health bar even after I’ve connected it several times. Also, it completely works fine when I click on it.
Please help.

Thanks so much for getting in touch. It looks like doctodisco.com is a self-hosted site, which means that it’s managed with a hosting provider that’s separate to WordPress.com. There’s a little more about the difference right here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
Here on the WordPress.com forums we’re able to help with WordPress.com sites – usually with self-hosted sites, the best place to check is with your hosting provider directly.
Having said that, in terms of your current update issues with Divi, have you already tried reaching out to the Divi theme developers on this? Thank-you for responding, my host is Bluehost. I will reach out to them. If I don’t get anywhere, I’ll come back on the forum.

Hi @aisajib I contacted Bluehost and they said this……
“Please be noted we BlueHost front end admins, don’t support on any theme, plugins or designing. However we can try. If theme is updated and uptown date you can ignore it.
…..you will have to contact wordpress.org or theme support directly”
I am not tech literate at all. I am getting no where.

As the theme developer, they should be able to help you with this further.
The WordPress.org support forum is available here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums – You can post there too, but I’d recommend contacting the theme developers first, as they may already have a solution to the issue you’re facing.
