Same article different url

  Bear with me hear.

  At the bottom of my article I stuck a digg counter thing….if the reader clicks on the “read more” button on the article on my home page they are taken to the full story and that displays 0 diggs. If they click on the story title they are taken to the full story but with a shorter url and this shows 3 diggs.

  Does this mean my post is saved twice in 2 different loactions or is it down to some coding thing?

  Is there any way that i can make the link for the title bar point to the same location as the link from the read more link.
