Same domain name for WordPress CMS

  Hello,

  We have CMS system that was developed by third party and we are using domain name called e.g. http://www.ourdomain.com with that CMS.

  My question is that whether we could have WordPress CMS with same domain name http://www.ourdomain.com? If we could, whether we could install in same server which has old CMS?
