Same old google analytics question

  I know this has been asked a lot of times and after searching through the forums page I am under the impression that I CANNOT use GA on wordpress.

  Still I am ambiguous about the fact that which wordpress blogs did those forum posts referred to ? Ones owned by wordpress or the ones where users have bought the domain names from wordpress ?

  One line question. Can I use GA on my wordpress blog ?

  Easy answer: no :)

  WordPress.COM does not own the blogs, they simply act as the host of the blogs. Purchasing a domain for use with a wordpress.COM blog does not change the functionality of the blog, only the address. Any blog hosted at wordpress.COM cannot use GA. (Main reason for this is that GA is already running on our blogs. WordPress.COM uses it as a part of our stats.)

  But can we get access to the stats you collect with Google Analytics?

  Yes. They are on your blog stats page.
