Sampa.com refuge needs help with move here

    Hello, I signed up here at wp.com today, I have a blog spot ready and now I need to transfer my Sampa.com content which is in a winzip form, (total 1448 files, 42,032 KB)

    I have looked over in the tools, and read the support information, which said “if we do not have an importing tool for your particular platform, (they don’t) you will need to try and import it into one of the accepted formats and then use the appropriate importer”

    Ok…I am cool with that, except I have no clue “how to”

    If anyone could lead the old mule to water, I will certainly try and drink.

    I recall hearing that some Sampa users have had success with the Yahoo 360 importer – but I don’t know the details.

    As an update courtesy, I will tell you that I was very successful in getting my printed blogs to import onto wordpress, and I am most grateful for that. But the photos did not all get here. I am really confused, as some did, others, I notice are just blank boxes, where a photo used to be. I use pictures in my blogs as part of a story and when the photo is gone the meaning is left to the imagination of the reader. I even get lost, and I wrote the darn piece. If anyone has explanation or even (hope-hope) suggestion? I would love to know more.

    Do you have a link to your new blog starting with http://? This would help in trying to figure out the cause of your problem.
