Sample of a Site to View On Mobile Devices

  I’m looking to bring my site over. My primary reason for moving is that my current provider’s view of our website on mobile devices is ten years behind the times.
  Do you have a sample complicated website that shows many features you can give me that will allow me to see what sites look like on various mobile devices. If not do you have an actual real world robust site I can view with me devices. The more robust (shows as many features as possible e.g. videos, social network connectivity.

  When I join do you provide website stats? Do you have someplace I can see a sample of what information is provided?

  I’ve heard wonderful things about WordPress. I’ve been pushing to use it. Ironically, the expert that warned against it a year ago is now using WordPress.

  Hi there. If you click here: http://wordpress.com/themes/ you’ll find a gallery of all the themes, free and premium, currently available on WordPress.com. If you click on the theme title it will take you to that theme’s support doc where you can see the features that theme supports. You will also see a button for a demo. That will take you to a demo page illustrating all the features of that theme. This link: http://en.wordpress.com/themes/filter/responsive-layout/ will show you all the themes that have responsive layouts for mobile devices.

  You can also click on Appearance ->Themes. If you view themes there you’ll have the option of a Live Preview. That will show you what your site will look like with that theme (this will of course work best if you already have content, widgets, etc.) There you can see what it will look like for computer screens, tablets and phones.

  I suggest you work through the to work through the “Learn WordPress” support doc (http://learn.wordpress.com/) and the “Video Quick Start” tutorial (http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/) to see if this platform will serve your needs.
