Samples Css?

Where can I find samples (ready) CSS? It is not easy to work with CSS and I wouldn’t like to purchase the upgrade but if there are samples in any kind of website I can try to find something that suits me and install it later on my wordpress.com

You will find the wordpress.com Sandbox CSS competition winners here http://sndbx.org/2007/08/07/and-the-winners-are/ Suffice to say that if you do not have CSS editing experience you may be better served to download and use the CSS sytlesheets that have already been created. Also note that there is a preview option so you can view the potential CSS stylesheet changes but your readers cannot. In addition, Staff has provided links to resources for learning CSS editing, as there is no staff support for learning CSS here at wordpress.comI believe you may find these links to be useful as well.

One thing to remember is that each CSS file is going to be different and things inside the CSS file are most like not going to be named the same. It all depends on the author and what they decided to use as a naming convention. That means that you cannot take the CSS for one theme and apply it to another without some massive amounts of work.
With the sandbox skins that timethief mentioned, all of those were written for the Sandbox theme so that means all of those CSS skins can be directly applied to sandbox here. One thing you will have to determine with sandbox skins is which version of sandbox they are designed for. The CSS structure varies from version to version.

No question. For some, if you understand the logic of CSS statements, then they may be able to determine the syntax needed for their theme’s master.css. Cut & paste is not what I had in mind. The best…
