sandbox 1.6.1 dropdown menu not IE6 compatible?

  Hi,

  After a lot of customizing (customizations are not online yet) I discovered today that the sandbox 1.6.1 that I am using is not backwards compatible with IE6…. Yikes!!!

  If I can’t get the dropdown menu to work in IE6, I will have to abandon the sandbox altogether and start from scratch with a new theme. Neither can I use the WP.com (which I prefer) but will have to selfhost (because I need a dropdown menu and that other theme that has it here at WP.com is not nice looking).

  Is it impossible to get CSS dropdowns for IE6 in sandbox, or can I somehow write a separate stylesheet for IE6?

  (Perhaps I could sneak in some html code into a widget and then push it off screen so that it does not appear on the page but is still there in the HTML and thus triggers an import of another IE-specific stylesheet?)

  Please, if you have any ideas on what I could do, I’d be very grateful if you would share them.

  Not even Microsoft supports IE6 anymore. I don’t know if there is any solution.
