sandbox help

  hi, i just signed up for wordpress, i want to customize my blog through the sandbox theme but am a TOTAL beginner. I can’t even figure out how to put a skin on. Is there a good resource for beginners with wordpress/css?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There are many CSS resources listed at the top of the CSS forum. Do NOT buy the upgrade until you’ve read them; you would be wasting your money. You are on your own, and there isn’t a huge catalogue of “skins” out there to be pasted in. You have to write them yourself, basically.

  You’re much better off choosing a theme that’s close to what you want. If your blog takes off, you can invest in the custom CSS upgrade and start customizing your theme. If your blog becomes enormously popular you may find it worthwhile to host a WordPress blog elsewhere and upload a customized theme. There are large libraries of themes to choose from.
