Sandbox theme Single Blog Entries
-
Hello, I am trying to fix how the single blog entries display. I am using the Sandbox theme, editing with CSS. When I link to an individual blog entry, the text is not aligned left and the background color is different. Could someone please help direct me to the section displaying the coding for the single blog entries?
My site is: http://shannonmichelephotography.wordpress.com
Thanks in advance!

try putting this in,
body.single div#content {
float:left;
font-size:1.2em;
line-height:1.4em;
width:650px;
margin:0;
padding:0 0 20px 45px; background: #F7F6DF;
}also, your sidebar doesn’t show when you click on single entries. I dont know how to make it appear that, maybe someone else you with that.

thanks for the help! i was actually able to figure that part out as i lost track of this posting. And yes, I am still trying to figure out now how to get the sidebar to display…hmm. Additionally, when you click on the monthly archives, the photos do not show up with posts, do you know what could be causing this?

aw1923,
Just a small observation. You don’t really need to so specific when declaring your selectors:
body.single div#contentThis should suffice:
#contentAlso, The way you wrote your selectors you’re saying something like “I want the div element with an ID value of ‘content’ whose parent element has a class value of ‘single’ be styled like this.” In other words, the browser won’t find such structure in the DOM and won’t style anything.

Yeah, I came back yesterday to fix my comment, but I noticed she already worked it out. Thanks.
