If I want to delete a site and WordPress says ‘Sano.wordpress.com will be unavailable in the future.’ Does it mean I cannot use that url anymore…? I want to start a new website and split the account.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Yes if you delete a site. It is permanent and you cannot reuse that URL anymore. Not at least for the next two years.

    Quote from this page –

For the most part, we cannot recycle or reassign site addresses (URLs) which may appear to be abandoned. We respect bloggers’ ownership of their content and therefore will not move or delete a site without its owners consent — no matter how long it has been since their last update.

Sites already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts. Do you see a deleted site with an address you would like to have? You can try registering a new site with that address here. If it is available, it will be yours.

If you wish to have 1 account (account1) linked to two sites (site1, site2), you can do that.

If you wish to create 2 accounts (account1, account2) for two different sites, you can do that as well.

Let us know if you have more questions :)
