    Howdy,

What exactly happens when you post in Sanskrit?

Depending on how you wish to use the text, you might try saving the Sanskrit in an image editor, and uploading it to your blog:

Chris – I get the below ‘paste’ of the Sanskrit text. Is there not a code that recognizes the Sanskrit … I think Arial Unicode ? On my Mac I have a device that allows me to grab fonts & codes form the web seamlessly.

    Thanks.

Okay, are you copying and pasting all of the Sanskrit on your blog? If so, that may contribute to the problem you’re coming across.

Are you able to type directly into the editor in Sanskrit?

Yes, you are correct, I am copying the Sanskrit into the post.

I do not seem to be able to type directly into the post. I cannot find a QWERTY type font that supports Devanagari nor the subtleties of diacritics used for transliterations.

    Any ideas, advice, suggestions ?

  • Can you try pasting it directly into the HTML editor tab (instead of the Visual tab)?
