Satellite theme – centre for desktop
-
Really like the satellite theme but it does not centre in the browser window for desktop, only on tablet and phone mode, this looks weird on my 21:9 monitor. Is there a way to get the desktop mode to behave the same as the tablet and phone?

Hi there,
You could change your site layout and your navigation menu location if you are on a Premium or Business plan as you’d have access to the Custom CSS editor. Getting the desktop mode to behave the same as the tablet and phone would involve quite a bit of Custom CSS, but a work-around would be to just centre the page content. Adding the below CSS would centre the main page content:
.site-inner-wrapper { margin: 0 auto; }It will push the page/post content over more the right though which is fine if you are viewing the page normally, but once you open the slide-out navigation it doesn’t look quite as nice.
You could add the following CSS which targets the main page body and removes the centering when the navigation is expanded:
.slide-menu.expanded + .site .site-inner-wrapper { margin: 0; }If you were specifically wanting to replicate the downwards navigation slide-out I would recommend asking this question as a CSS question in the CSS Customization forum in that case (assuming you are wanting to make CSS changes and are on a Premium or Business plan), to make sure that you get a response from those who could help and see what can be done.
Having said that, the navigation slide-out is fixed on smaller screens so this may not look very nice on larger screens.
I hope this helps?

Thank you for the very thorough response, I am now on the premium plan and will take a look at this.
