Save and publish Not working
-
I have organized and attempted to save my new website numerous times. I have watched videos and how-to. I follow the instructions and it doesn’t save the work. Exmp. Changing media header, I change it save it and when I go to view my page it reverts back to the original theme stock photo. I’m using twenty seventeen theme? The same thing happened when I created page sections and added photos for each section. Save and publish and then back to square one. I notice from the help videos my Word press version is newer. Is there an auto backup or something I need to turn off?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you sure your site is hosted here on WordPress.com?
The checks I made showed that your site is hosted at iPage…and if that’s correct, it means you are running the self-hosted version of WordPress…and we don’t cover that here.
You should probably go to the support forum on wordpress.org:
https://wordpress.org/support/You can find out all about the differences between WordPressDotCom and WordPressDotOrg on this page:

I’m not an expert at this, but it doesn’t look to me that your site is hosted here at wordpress.com.
You can go to http://www.whois.com and type in your domain name, and then look at the nameservers listed.
If you were hosted here on wordpress.com, the name servers would be listed as: ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, etc., etc.
But your domain nameservers as listed as ns2.domain.com and ns1.domain.com.
This indicates that your site is not hosted here at wordpress.com, and you need to go to the support pages at wordpress.org to get some help.

@manfrommars
You are correct.@bignuggets
thetrumptrain.website is a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting hosted by iPage, not by wordpress.COM
IP Address: 66.96.162.251
Name Servers:
ns2.domain.com
ns1.domain.comThat site is not on our servers. You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, and many people get confused about the two.
The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.com/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

@manfrommars
You’re welcome. Note the sidebar tags I entered. I am a thread tagger and that means that tag searches, and Google searches are always productive. I do both searches before I respond to any thread. I search after I click the member link under the username. There I can see when the account was registered, how much experience the person posting appears to have, and most of all, whether or not the thread is a duplicate that has already been answered. -

Unfortunately, I don’t really know what it means when you say “thread tagger.” I know what tags are, but not sure what the rest of it means…sorry.
