Save draft button always greyed out!

    I’m working on a large draft post (covering decades of science fiction movies) and the “save” button is continuously greyed out. I want to save the post every once in a while, but can’t. It’s always greyed out. I know it’s autosaving the post, but when I try to the browser window, it says I’ll loose changes if I continue. So even though the button is greyed out, it hasn’t saved?

    I’m using Firefox. I’ve cleared the cache, restarted the browser, updated all the plugins etc.

    Is there a way to turn off the autosave feature so I can just click save myself?
