Save draft option not working like it should

    Whenever I am working on an update for the site I work on, I am requested to save as a draft before making the update live, so my managers can look and approve the updates. Lately, when I try to do this, I will save as draft, it will say that it saved, and I will send it to my manager. When they try to look at the draft, it is not updated at all, and is just like it was before I put the work in. Essentially whenever someone else opens my draft, it gets undone. I hope someone knows how to fix this, and that I am just missing an option somewhere or something.
