Save multiple Appearance "profiles" for your website
-
So one thing I’ve noticed around the intermanets is that a lot of websites will have special versions of their site design for major holidays and other special events. It’s the same site, but the color schemes, headers, backgrounds, and other graphics have been changed to appear more festive. After the holiday, they switch everything back to the regular version.
Now, this and things like it can be done on WordPress blogs, but at the moment it’s kind of a pain since each individual aspect of a blog’s design must be changed manually.
I suggest that one should be able to save “profiles” which contain all the appearance settings so you can switch between versions of your site (just the appearance, not themes or total redesigns) in order to make this easier and more convenient. So you might have one profile for how your site normally looks, one for Christmas, one for the Forth of July, etc. Maybe even some for things other than holidays, but I can’t think of any examples at the moment.
Maybe even have the ability to automate the process so certain profiles are automatically implemented during certain days of the year, but that’s not really necessary to my suggestion.
