save third party posts as drafts
-
Hi, WordPress Support.
I’m having a lot of fun at the minute on Quora, providing solutions when its users invite me to answer their questions.I love the fact that I can share these answers direct with WordPress once submitted. But there’s a snag. The auto-share from Quora sends just a snippet and no category/tag/slug/featured image information.
As I have publicise set to Google+, there’s a very real chance that the content from my blog is indexed before I get chance to nip across to the WordPress dashboard and add the missing meta data and other user-useful content.
Is there any way that even as an admin I can save all ‘pushed’ content as a draft rather than have it publish immediately? As ‘contributors’ posts are saved to draft, or ‘pending, is there a way that admins can also save their posts into WordPress as ‘pending’?
Thanks,
Zebedeerox. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy Zebedeerox,
That’s a tricky one! The only way I could think to make this work would be to do the following:
- Setup another user account on your site in a Contributor role:

- Setup the new Contributor user on your Quora profile instead of your admin profile
Since Contributors can’t publish to a blog (only save posts as drafts) I think this might work. Can you give this a try?
