Saved Drafts ready for publishing disappearing/gone missing
-
We have been publishing a series of interviews and saving the drafts so that they are ready to publish at the right moment. Some of our drafts have literally just disappeared. They are not in the trash folder, it’s like they never existed (but they did, and took hours to edit and format) – what do we do?
We have been using wordpress.com for over a year and it has always been reliable, but we can’t afford to loose time on this voluntary project – does this happen often? What can we do? Can we get them back? Should we move our site to another service?
Thanks,

You have several authors and another administrator on your blog. I noticed that the other administrator deleted several posts from the site, but I can’t tell if the deleted ones are the ones you are looking for because I can only see a post_id number for them. Are you absolutely certain no other users on your blog are the ones deleting the drafts?
Do you have an alternate test blog and is it possibly you could have posted some content to a different blog by mistake and then lost track of it that way?
I haven’t seen any other complaints of this, and that makes me think something strange is going on either with other users on the site or you misplaced the content or it was permanently deleted by mistake (either by you or another user on your blog). Could any of these possible explanations be what is happening?
