Saved work gone

  In the revisions/ history my most recent work isn’t there despite the fact i have saved several times in the last hour. I can only find 200 words in notes or so of the almost (around 500) word finished document with gifs and videos embedded. And I don’t know what to do, cheers.

  Uh oh, can you tell us whether you were using a browser or an app when this happened? Also if you were in a browser, were you at wordpress.com/post or using wp-admin?

  And what’s the title of the affected article?

  Any further details you can send will help.

  It was in Google Chrome browser on a computer.
  The article was called “Building Tension – homework” I think.

  I think i may have closed it at some point, but yes a couple hours

  Thanks. I can’t see anything on our end which suggests the post was being saved successfully — I would expect there to be more revisions if that had been the case. I’m afraid we aren’t able to restore content that wasn’t saved to our servers, which appears to be the case here.

  I think the most likely explanation is the post was closed before the content had been successfully saved. Also, if it was open for a long period of time, your connection may have timed out.
