Saving causes post content to be erased

    I upload new text and photos, hit Save and the page is now empty.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    If you check the other threads on this issue https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/missing-post you’ll see that this is particularly associated with the New Post button on the grey admin bar. I suggest NEVER using it. Write your posts from the dashboard Posts->New Post page, and before hitting Publish do a Copy All, Save and then hit Publish while everything is still highlighted. For whatever reason that seems to force things to go through. Even if it fails, you have a copy of the post on your clipboard and can just paste it in again and hit Update.

    Not sure if there was a server-side error, but redoing what I tried last night seems to work now. Also I was not using the aforementioned admin bar ‘new post’ button. Weird.

    I figure it was a server-side error because I was getting timeout messages even though my internet connection was fine.
