Saving changing html code
-
When I paste my word doc on the page then save it word press changes the original Html. How do I stop that from happening? It changes the color of the l letters that are not black, It changes the type of font if it is not a standard font. I don’t have customization is that why?

Hi fruitfulartist,
I hope I can help. I found this documentation: http://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/ that explains how to utilize the WordPress.com post editor to its fullest capabilities if you copy/paste from a word processor such as Microsoft Word.
-Hope this helps

That is outdated.
Basically, you cannot retain formatting when you paste from a non-web program like Word to a WP.com blog. If you want to write offline and upload the post including formatting, use a proper offline blog editor. If you like Word, you will LOVE Windows Live Writer, which is free.

Thanks Where do I find Windows live Writer for Windows 8 Id found a version compatible with windows 7 but don’t know if that is safe to download.
-
I don’t know. It’s a Microsoft product, so presumably Google can help you. A version for Windows 7 should be safe.

That is outdated.
Just FYI-that Support doc was updated following the recent changes to the Post Editor and Image Insertion.
