SAVING FAILED – all Block Editor Themes

    On every single block editor theme that I install on my WordPress site, I receive the SAVING FAILED error when making changes on my front page.

    I can create a new page and publish changes on those, but this error only occurs on the front page template. On every single block editor theme

    Of important note, I have no plugins or anything installed at all besides the theme. it is a fresh wordpress site. I have a domain hosted on it through siteground. I’ve tried the following solutions:

    • reset permalink
    • reset browser cache, try all browser types
    • check rest API
    • check if “disable visual editor” button is checked on users
    • check host firewall

    this is extremely frustrating and no matter what computer browser or solution I’ve found through search, I cannot make any changes to my front page template.

    it is a fresh wordpress site. I have a domain hosted on it through siteground. 

    We are unable to help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we’re unable to provide support. But I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    The good news is that because you use the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is available at the community forums here:

    The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help.
