saving function

    Hi
    can anyone help? i just wrote an entry and went to publish it and wordpress funked out and i lost everything i just wrote. it looked as though it had been saving all along, but when i went back to the write page only a very small portion was still there. is there any way to recover text?

    It’s very rare for this kind of a failure to occur but I’m sorry to say that if the whole text wasn’t saved as a draft then you’ve lost it forever. This is what the FAQs at the head of the forum and the FAQs blog state. That’s why many of us use off-line blog editors like BlogDesk or Ecto, etc. to draft our posts in and to publish to wordpress from.
