    Hi,

Are you attempting to change a menu item navigation label, destination URL, both? What happens when you attempt to save such a change?

  • Unknown's avatar

What type of change to the menu is being attempted?

    Automatically fixed.Thanks

Shall I paste Category example 1 or Category example 2 in the sitemap page?
    Category example 1
    1. BRANCH OPERATIONS
    1.1. DEPUTY MANAGER
    1.1.1. Customer Service
    1.1.2. Schedule of Charges
    Category example2
    BRANCH OPERATIONS
    DEPUTY MANAGER
    Customer Service
    Schedule of Charges

    Hi again,

Sorry for the long delay. I’ve never created a sitemap as described on the Sitemaps support page on my primary site or any other WordPress.com site, having used for several years a list pages shortcode instead, in part because my site is primarily composed of pages. Not until today, that is. I just tested the basic sitemap shortcode ‘[sitemap]‘, and was not please with the result. It ignores some the page hierarchy and the font (typewriter, I think) is unattractive.

Be that as it may, I don’t know which “sitemap page” you are referring to, or why you would paste anything into it.

Regarding your first option: I’ve used an index involving decimals in the links menus of my primary site, but only to using one decimal point. In general I try to avoid such constructions in my indexes.

Please explain regarding pasting a list into “the sitemap page.” I presume you’re pasting a link list constructed and/or displayed elsewhere.
