Saving page deletes javascript code?
-
I’m confused…. I’m trying to insert Paypal cart code into my pages, and whenever I save the page, it “eats” all the javascript that’s supposed to be in there from e-junkie’s… Is javascript not allowed, or something? Argh…

Javascript, flash, forms and iframes are not allowed here at wordpress.com due to security concerns, and you might want to review the following links. There are severe restrictions on what we can and cannot do here on this free hosting service.

You can use a Paypal “Donate” button, but not the encrypted kind. And definitely read the links posted above. No point installing something only to have your blog deleted.

what a deal breaker!
Your problem WP.com, is portals are creating code in javascript to display on blog or websites….there are obviously hundreds of other “trusted sources” besides google, which you could add to your safe list. One in particular Etsy.com…they have created a Etsy Mini which displays on the side of your blog.
I can’t believe I’ve spent an hour, getting everything set-up, to realize you have security issues!

Lots of bloggers at WP.com are using Etsy, just not the javascript code.
