Saving Posts Takes Forever

    I have a blog that has over 2500 posts. I have noticed that saving posts is increasingly taking more time. Takes about a minute or more sometimes. I tried from various machines – I am not hosted on wordpress.com, but hosted with a private hosting company located in MI.

    What could be the reason? There was post similar to this in 2008, but there was no resolution (at least I could not find one). Hanni (staff) did post a comment that they are investigating, but I did not see anything after that.

    Can you please help?

    If the problem is with a WordPress.com blog, can you contact support with a specific blog URL where the problem is happening so we can take a closer look?
