saving problem in wordpress discussion setting

    Hello.
Can you please do a favor for me. I am in a great problem.

From discussion settings of my website’s word press account, I tried to uncheck “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” box and “Comment author must have a previously approved comment” box.

But everytime I try to change, it reverts to it’s previous status !!

I even tried after deactivating all installed plugins. But nothing happens !

I logged in to my wordpress account directly, and tried to do the same. It says ”there was a problem saving your changes, please try again.”

Furthermore, I logged in to my hosting account, dream host and clicked on ‘manage domain’ settings, I deactivate the extra security / mod security options. But even after that no good result !!

I am not sure what to do !! I don’t want the readers to sign up to make comments !!

    Please fix it !!

    Thank you.

Hi there, help for self-hosted sites using the standalone WP software can be found over at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.

Standalone WP (org) and WordPressdotcom (where we are) are different entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Best wishes
