saving takes very long

  Although it’s not as bad as the situation was a couple of days ago, saving is still taking a very long time (like 5 minutes) but it does eventually complete.

  OK-just timed it from hitting the save button until the page reloads with the notice “Post Updated” and it was three minutes, not 5.

  Now this afternoon, at least twice, I hit the “save” button and then went straight to Google Images, before it had time to load. And it finished loading while I was at Google. I think that is new.

  My posts are taking a long time too. I just keep working in several windows. But I have also noticed that while my post is still saving, the changes have been made. Very strange.

  Glad to hear it is not me also. I got so frustrated the other night trying to do some editing, I just gave up. Not sure of the problem, but hope they get it fixed soon. Been noticing it for a few weeks now.

  I have just tried out something else. I clicked on “save” and when it seemed to have started doing its thing, I continued editing the page and changed the beginning of a sentence, then clicked “save” again, ansd it registered the changes.

  Today for the first time however I received a pop-up of this kind:
  “Unable to connect —
  Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at espliego.wordpress.com.

  * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
  moments.

  * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
  connection.

  * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
