Saying My Email Isn’t Registered

    Hello,

    I signed up through Google and it’s wanting me to log in regular for things like editing plug-ins but it says my email isn’t registered. But it’s the one listed in my profile…? I tried changing the password and it says email not registered.

    Please provide your correct email address (it will be visible only to staff) for which it says it is not registered.
    Staff will be looking into it.

    Hi there, where it is you are trying to log in? greencrossoftorrance.com looks to be hosted at Bluehost and not hosted here on WordPressdotcom servers. You should be able to log in to your standalone WP site by adding /wp-login.php to the end of your site URL.

    Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites and the guidance provided here may not be relevant to DIY WordPress.org sites hosted with an external hosting provider (e.g. Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.).

    If you need help with a site using the open source WP (org) software you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you are experiencing.

    If your above site is connected to WordPressdotcom through the jetpack plugin, you should be able to manage it through the MY SITES link at the top left of your browser window. If it comes back with “you don’t have any sites” you may need to be logged in with a different username in order to manage that site here.
