Instead of page coming up, I suddenly started getting this error and can’t find how to correct….

What is the domain URL you are trying to use, and have you gone through and bought and set up the domain mapping upgrade?

  • Unknown's avatar

    The domain URL is http://autismmadison.org

This was set up in June or July of 2010 and we paid our renewal last month before the expiration date on August 2nd. We lost control August 14th around Noon Central Time.

The warning message on page says:
Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

I tried to do as instructed but those directions in the error message are to vague.

We are a major non-profit in Wisconsin and we need our web site available to the public.

    Please help ASAP.
    David

@dlgeorgejr: Howdy, I checked your account and unfortunately it does not seem that you have renewed your domain mapping. You can map your domains on this page:
    https://autismmadison.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

If you run into any issues, or if you believe that you have been billed by WordPress.com (would appear as wp-fee.com on your statement), please email us at support@wordpress.com referencing this thread and providing the PayPal txn ID, and we will look further into this matter.

(Please note that if your domain was registered elsewhere, you will need to update domain registration with your registrar as well as domain mapping with WordPress.com – those would be separate charges as they are for different things. It’s possible that you have renewed your domain registration, but have not renewed your domain mapping upgrade, that would explain why the domain mapping would stop working.)
